I mean, for a Christian contemporary pop artist to cross-over in pop mainstream and make an appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show, this was a big deal back in 1991. I've always admired how Arsenio had a diverse guest on his show every week. I miss that show.

It’s interesting that this was her second highest mainstream chart topper not counting the duet with Peter Cetera. Except for this clip, I have never seen her singing this live during the heart in motion era or anytime shortly after.

Heart In Motion is the absolute best album from start to finish.Hats is my favorite song from that album because later that year my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and I wore many hats during that period .My go to album .It got me through some really hard times when my faith was tested .

This Today Show concert took place on the day that Amy’s friend Rich Mullins died. He was sadly killed in an automobile accident that night. Rich wrote a number of songs that Amy recorded, including Sing Your Praise to the Lord, Doubly Good to You, Love of Another Kind, Sparrow Watcher (w/ Pam Mark Hall & Kathy Traccoli), Nothing is Beyond You & Hold Me Jesus.
